2015 Doisy Undergraduate Biochemistry Scholars

We are pleased to welcome the 2015 Undergraduate Scholars to the department. We have four students joining us this year.

Matthew Brettmann, from Kansas State University, will work in Enrico Di Cera’s lab. His project is entitled “The Compression of Linker-2 and role membrane binding in prothrombin activation.”

Sierra Dickey, from Truman State University, will work in David Ford’s lab. Her project is entitled “2-Chlorofatty acids mediate neutrophil activation.”

Rachel Johnston, from the University of Michigan, will work in Susana Gonzalo’s lab. Her project is entitled “Vitamin D/Vitamin D Receptor axis regulates DNA repair factors during oncogene-induced senescence.”

Jonathan Kopel, from Missouri University of Science and Technology-Rolla, will work in Thomas Cho’s lab. His project is entitled “The role of MIF-LPS interaction in sepsis.”
