Primary areas of research:
- Adult congenital heart disease
- Clinical cardiology
Summary of cardiovascular research:
Currently, I am the Principal Investigator at SLU for the GLORIA-AF registry trial which is following outcomes of patients treated with Pradaxa for non-valvular atrial fibrillation. I also participated as a sub-investigator in the AIM-High trial which looked at CV outcomes with the addition of long acting niacin to standard lipid therapy with statins. I am currently working in conjunction with pediatric cardiology to build an integrated adult congenital heart disease clinic and hope to find research opportunities in this area as well.
