Nuria Coll-Bonfill, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow in Susana Gonzalo’s lab, wrote a children’s book, A Girl in Twenty Million, with her husband, Quim Miro, to explain the premature aging disease, Progeria. The story follows the daily life of a Progeria child, Alexandra.

The authors will hold a book signing on Thursday, June 17, 4 to 6 p.m., on the sidewalk outside of the Doisy Research Center. The book will be available to purchase and all proceeds from book sales will benefit the Progeria Research Foundation.
