Congratulations to Lucan Handlin, Graduate Student in the lab of Gucan Dai, and Ayush Mistry, Graduate Student in the lab of Edwin Antony, on being awarded the 2026 Philip and Lilian Katzman Scholarship in recognition of their outstanding performance in the BMB Graduate Program.
The $35,000 scholarship is effective for one year beginning July 1, 2026, and covers their current stipend. An additional $1,000 is contributed by the Chair of Biochemistry as a travel award to each student.
