BMB Members Honored at Grantwinner Awards

BMB members were honored at the Scholarly Works and Grantwinners Reception sponsored by the OVPR.

  • Reagan McGuffee, M.D./Ph.D. student in the lab of David Ford, Ph.D., received the 2024 Graduate Student Award for his NHLBI F30 Predoctoral Dual Degree Fellows Award from the NIH.

  • Edwin Antony, Ph.D., Professor of Biochemistry, and Sofia Origanti, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Biology, received the Joint Junior and Senior Scholarly Article Award for their Nature Communications paper entitled “An aurora B-RPA signaling axis secures chromosome segregation fidelity.”
