The results of the Spring 2018 Cycle 15 of the President’s Research Fund were announced recently. Congratulations to Dale Dorsett, Ph.D., Professor of Biochemistry, who was among the recipients of these awards for his project entitled “Brca2: Non-canonical roles in sister chromatid cohesion and gene regulation.”
The President’s Research Fund provides funding to projects that incentivize new research of high scientific quality that is likely to secure extramural funding or to support existing research projects favorably reviewed by the NIH but not yet funded. Applications are accepted in January, and funding begins in April. For more information, see the Research Planning Committee website.
