Dan Pike, Ph.D., a recent M.D./Ph.D. student in the lab of Dave Ford, published a paper in the Journal of Lipid Research entitled “2-Chlorofatty acids are biomarkers of sepsis mortality and mediators of barrier dysfunction in rats.”
The paper, which details his work on identifying unique biomarkers that can be used to diagnose and determine mortality in sepsis patients, was selected as a JLR Highlight for July.
