Kyle McCommis Appointed ICTS Liaison

Congratulations to Kyle McCommis, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, for his appointment as the ICTS CORE Liaison for Basic Research. The ICTS, Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences, at Washington University aims to “accelerate clinical and translational research and advance discovery, knowledge and innovation to improve health outcomes.” The Institute combines researchers from Washington University, Saint Louis University, and University of Missouri-Columbia in order to foster collaborations and support research and discovery.

In this role, Kyle will be in direct contact with ICTS administrators and core directors to advance SLU research usage of ICTS CORE services and involvement in beneficial collaborations. In addition, he can answer questions about the ICTS, including the ICTS JIT funding mechanism and the Clinical and Translational Research Funding Program (CTRFP) pilot funding program.
