Congratulations to Kyle McCommis, Ph.D., who was chosen as an Editorial Board Fellow for the Journal of Physiology.
The Editorial Board Fellow program gives junior faculty an opportunity to be directly involved in the editorial process. Fellows join the Board for a two-year period and are mentored by a Senior Editor in all aspects of editorial duties, including seeking referees, analyzing referee reports, and making final decisions on acceptability of publication.
Editorial Fellow applicants are within the first 5 years of their academic appointment and are expected to be familiar with the Journal of Physiology. A full outline of the program is available on the Editorial Board Fellowship page for The Physiological Society.
