Maureen Donlin Receives RGF Award

Congratulations to Maureen Donlin, Ph.D., Research Professor of Biochemistry, who received a Research Growth Fund award to develop assays to screen for small molecules that can be developed into anti-fungal drugs, building on current research on the human pathogen, Cryptococcus neoformans.

RGF awards are funded by the Saint Louis University Research Institute, which was established in 2018 as part of a gift from Dr. Jeanne and Rex Sinquefield. Maureen’s proposal was one of more than 70 received in the second round, 13 of which were selected for funding. You can read the full story in Newslink.
