Congratulations to Sahiti Kuppa, Graduate Student in Edwin Antony’s lab, on be awarded an NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition (F99/K00) award from the National Cancer Institute at the NIH. The award provides funding to complete predoctoral training (F99) as well as funding to transition to an independent postdoctoral research career (K00).
These awards are highly competitive and only approximately 30 awards are given each year. The award can provide up to 6 years total of support.
The F99/K00 award to Sahiti is the first ever given to a SLU graduate student.
