Congratulations to Suresh Kumar, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of Nicola Pozzi, on being awarded the 2025 Hanau Loeb Prize for his paper in Blood. Suresh was awarded a $3,000 cash prize.
The Hanau Loeb prize was created to acknowledge Dean Loeb’s outstanding contributions to our department and the growth of research in our medical school through his support of Dr. Doisy throughout their careers in the department.
Eligible nominees must be a BMB lab member who is the first author of a journal article published during the previous calendar year, for which a current primary or secondary BMB faculty is the corresponding author. Papers are submitted for nomination by faculty in the department and all primary and secondary faculty were able to vote on the submitted papers.
