Congratulations to Yuna Ayala, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Biochemistry, on being appointed as a member of the Cellular and Molecular Biology of Neurodegeneration (CMND) Study Section.
The CMND study section reviews applications focused on the cellular and molecular aspects of neurodegeneration as well as the role of genetic factors, trophic molecules, and extrinsic influences in neurodegenerative disorders. Disorders of interest include Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other spinal, cerebral, and muscular degenerative disorders.
